So got this new z1000, and trying to decide of a color plan. Its already all black, with black and chrome rims.

I was thinking of painting the rims gold to match the forks.

But someone told me black and red rims would look better. And most of my gear is black and red so it would all match.

But my last bike was black and red, and i like black and gold damnit!

What does everyone think would look better?

Or should i just leave it the way it is?

If you do end up painting the wheels, my main suggestion would be to go solid with the color and dont leave the silver rim. Just one more color to clash things up (which Kawi did a pretty good job with on the first gens).

If the Gold color matches the forks, it would be BADASS. I went with all black bc it was easier than matching the gold, but I am quite a fan of a blacked out bike with SUBTLE gold accents.

-Oh ad actually now the Red Kawasaki on the tank is gone as I have a black bagster tank cover with no logo, so its all black n gold now:thumbsup:

after looking at you bike again i say the black and gold color would look the best for your bike and i'm sure that's what you were going to go with in the long run.
