That looks good. Yeah, wouldn't mind riding one to ck it out.

You thinking of adding or replacing?

After being on that 1000 the 900 may seem a bit tame. ?

I've had both and would go back to the 900 no problem. The only thing wrong with it was the suspension which was woeful. If they've fixed that properly it'll be a fantastic bike.
It doesn't need the electronics. You can thrash it all day every day and it won't bite you.

Well, the original 03 Gen 1 had a displacement of 953cc and this Z900 SE is at 948cc so I don't think there will be much difference.

Bore and Stroke:

Gen1 Z1000 has 77.2 x 50.9 while the Z900 has 73.4 x 56.0

With the ride modes, slipper clutch and traction control, I think it would be easier to move quicker.

Living on disability, I can't afford a new bike and at $16,000 your getting close to some other very good bikes that may outperform the Z.

Yep, price point and budget always come into play. Which is prolly why I've not up'd my 3rd gen. It's a fine machine for the type of riding that I do. Shure like the front of the 4th gens tho.

the Kaw home page shows 3 more bikes under wraps to be unveiled Nov 23rd. Looking at the front wheels, there are 2 street bikes coming, I wonder ???

*one appears to only have a single front brake rotor though
