So there are a couple girls who like getting rides on my motorcycle thumbsup but I really don't have a way to "carry" a helmet to them. So I was wondering how you guys go about carrying a spare helmet?

I've seen some people ride around with helmets locked onto their rear passenger pegs. Not sure what they bought to do that, and not sure if that'll work considering our exhaust is basically right there.. but, who knows.

So, ideas? Solutions?

under your rear seat there are 2 cables, 1 on the left side and one on the right. you unhook it from the one side and you put it through the helmet ring and you rehook it under the seat. that's how i do it. if you don't like that I bet they sell some helmet hangers on the web.

Are you sure these cables are under the seat on the 2010/11 Z1000? I don't see them under my seat... and the owner's manual doesn't mention them either.

Did you check in the tool bag, All of the bikes I've owned had helmet locks in the tool bag or under the rear seat. I don't know about 2010 but i figured would be the same. Let me research it and I'll write back to you.
