Z1000 abs

Hello all,
Just a query to see if anyone else has the same issue and if they have done anything to resolve it...

So when doing some spirited riding, when downshifting and got the rear brake on the pedal pulses with every downshift, I wouldn't of said the back is getting light making the abs kick in but something must be making the abs work, it's the only thing I can think of.

Anyone got any input or suggestions, much appreciated.

Not sure about your issue, pulsing to me would either be abs, rotor, or perhaps air in the line.

Clean bike you got, is that a 2nd gen?
This is more of a thought than a direct answer but I think using the rear brake while spirited riding and throwing downshifts IS the problem. It takes next to nothing to lock the back wheel on one of these bikes, they’re pretty nose heavy. I’ve literally skidded through traffic trying to ride it like a non sports bike
Back brake is wicked good on these.all it needs is a small touch on pedal👍

If you’re downshifting doing spirited riding and on the back brakes that in itself can be enough to activate a lot of abs systems, my recommendation is to use less rear brake (y):alien:
