those are some pretty insane speeds. still not the fastest ive seen though. im assuming their speedos are reading in km/h not mph.

Fast trip to the organ donor table...Fastest speed I saw was right at 173 mph. Speedo is in kph. Even the temp gauge is in metric. Assuming a standard 10% speedo error actual speed is close to 156. Either way it is hauling ***.
You can check to see what top speed would be (theoretical, gearing limited) using www.gearingcommander.com. Might need to adjust the redline though. Also need to know your gearing.

Thats usually the best and most enjoyable way of finding out your top speed. LOL. Definitely not the safest but who cares when you're going over 150mph.I prefer the old fashioned way of cranking it until it doesn't go anymore! Great video!
Thats pretty much like riding in N.E. Pennsylvania and upstate New York. Did I just say that?
I drive and ride a lot in Germany and their autobahns are great, there are actually not too many long stretches of "free speed" (no speed limit) areas anymore but you can have some great fun. The German drivers are also very well aware of other road users so its much safer than high speed here in the UK and in the USA.
