I recently ordered and received my Puig "Racing" Windscreen from my dealer. The shape of the screen is very distinctive. Recently I posted a thread about mounting a GPS by drilling a small hole in the handlebar bracket but forget that. Instead, order the Puig Racing Windscreen and simply mount your Garmin GPS using the suction cup bracket that comes with the unit. Attach it to the underside of your screen and it will hold the unit perfectly and the shape couldn't be any better.

As you can see, it doesn't interfere with the bike's instrument cluster and adjustability is pretty darn good. I guess if you have the Puig installed and like to hunker down and peer through the upper part of the screen this wouldn't work for you...

Anyway, no drilling at all and a perfect fit!

That's nifty looking! If you don't mind my asking.... How much did the Puig set you back? Which Garmin model is that you're running? Is it MC-specific; and if not, are you able to see the screen in daylight (I tried running a Mio on my Versys, but couldn't see the damn screen during the day). How are you powering the GPS?

PS: 2011 exhaust cans, FTW!

Good eye, those are 2011 cans! The Puig cost $89.00 ordered through my Kawasaki Dealer. The Garmin is the 1300, another $89.00 at Radio Shack, and not a bad deal either!! Seeing the screen at high noon is a bit of a problem but I don't think it's that terrible, you can always shield it for a moment with your hand. Most screens, including the Iphone4 will be difficult to read in direct sunlight. I have a cigarette lighter adapterl (from Radio Shack - $6.00, $20.00 at the dealer) that connects to the battery and the GPS is plugged into that under the seat.
