As the title states I'm looking to see if anyone has a steering damper and or mount/ bracket for a first gen 2003-2006 z1000 that they are willing to part with.

Larry, we need a picture of this damper. A damper, on a street bike probably isn't necessary, but I love my Scotts . Way too expensive. 100% not needed, but I love it. I won't own another street bike that doesn't have one now that I've been able to ride with one.
I ended up just selling it to a buddy that wanted it more than I did for is zx6r. The main reason I thought I needed one was because one of the previous owners of my bike decided to stupidly put an sv650 shock in the rear which made it very wheelie happy and not very nice in the corners. After a couple wobbles I went to adjust the suspension a bit and realized I didn’t even have the right shock. Since then I installed an 05 zx10r rear shock and that resolved all of the handling issues I had so when the stabilizer arrived I didn’t even bother taking it out of the box and just sold it.
I found that with the zx10r shock it rides like a dream and I’m actually thinking about upgrading the front end now to match the feel.
