Is it your head that is bobbing/getting thrown around on you? If that is the case, get a helmet with better aerodynamics. I bought a Bell Star and made a HUGE difference! Plus the taller screens just look goofy and the helmet looks bada$$. haha

I bought a Puig windscreen last year for a trip from Sarasota to Montana and it definitely made a difference. I recommend it.

I'm using a Scorpion EXO-400 and love it....Affordable....very little wind noise....no head bobble at highway speeds......and totally fog proof shield.

I like the bikini wind screen on my 07...the taller ones just look odd on a naked, in my opinion.

Mingus brings up a valid point, a taller screen for a balls out trip from Sarasota, FL to Montana would definitely be worth it. But I still like my short screen! :D

anyone recommend a nice higher windshield. im on the highway going 70 and its throwin me around. i saw a thread of a nice puig but no one has commented on it. i have an 03. open to all suggestions! thanks! what do you guys think of this: http://www.surfsidemoto.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=PUIG1520&Category_Code=Kawasaki-Windscreens&Store_Code=SSM

I can tell you this much - when I had my 03, the wind was killing me too. Put on the extended windscreen, and it made a HUGE difference. I didnt have a Puig brand one...I think it was Zero Gravity. It had rounded edges, rather than the hard angles of the Puig screen - and it didnt look bad (although it did with stock mirrors - take the mirrors off and use bar end mirrors and it looked cool.)

I now have the 2010 model, and I am surprised at how well it blocks wind. They moved the headlights forward and down, and it actually punches a bigger hole in front of you, so that the wind goes right up and over you. No need for a new screen on this one! :D

Here is a link to a guy's page with pictures of the Zero Gravity screen on a Z1000.

Check them out at Motorcyclesuperstore.com def. not $500 there! might be last years model but who cares! The liner in them is like butter, very very comfortable. I'm 6'4" and don't feel the need for a taller screen with this helmet on!

The Zero Gravity screen doesn't look bad at all. Like the guy said on his page it looks pretty close to stock. Most guys that aren't familiar with how the bike looks might even mistake it for a stock piece.

Those are a lot of ebay links. Whatever screen you get can you post your feedback about it on here. Definitely would like to find out more about those.
