I know this has been posted here, but where is the best place to order the seat cowl for my 2010 Z1000? I see folks with them but haven't been able to find a source that actually sells them or keeps them in stock.

the only place i know of so far is from kawasaki. goto the website and go under accessories. find your ride and they should have them.

The seat cowl here in OZ is expensive about $380 AUD
not worth the effort, it doesnt add to the perfprmance of the bike ..

That's a bit pricey for me, especially for a cosmetic item. Maybe I'll just wait a while.....

New to the forum but thought I would toss this one out there. Company called Power Bronze. They are A U.K. company. Try this link www.powerbronzeusa.com take a look at the items they have. I purchased the PowerBronze Seat Cowl and Rear Hugger(can you say that?). Took about 2 weeks to get here. I like it but of course looks are subjective. Good Luck in your hunt. Not the best pics but its a start the website will give you a pretty good look.

Nice. That one looks good. I just installed the Puig "Racing Windscreen" in dark smoke. I Couldn't find a source for just buying the darn thing (the distributor would not sell directly to me) so I got my dealership to order it from the distributor. It took about a week to get here. What was the price for the cowl you ordered it you don't mine me asking?:lol:

The seat cowl was just under $80.00 Shipping for the seat cowl and hugger was just under $10. For what its worth mounting was simple and it can be removed quickly if you have to accommodate a pillion. Thanks for the positive comment on the cowl by the way...
