Why do you switch through the motul brands I'm just curious if it helps and which one I should use I just bought a 2014 z1000ABS and it had its oil changed at 500 miles and now it's at 2500 which motul would be best for me to use

@Andrewbourdreau335 No help from me concerning synthetics I have always used YamaLube 10-40. Don't flame on me!!
NO FLAMING ON KOGGS.

He is on our Team.

I spoke with a Scientist who rides a bike yesterday & he explained molecular weight, size, etc.

And claimed because Synthetic is all the same size, it's not as effective - will get his answer in his words exactly later on for the Forum.

The Older I get the more one realise the Old have been working this out for 5 Million Years ...

Silkolene 10w40 Fully synthetic. Just about to hit 20k on my gen 4 - change every 3k or so (usually a bit less) but i dont keep accurate count. Had a quick shifter in there for the last 8k and its still running sweet as.

The regular Castrol oil. Long as I'm changing it regularly, I'm not worried.
Routine changes are key, dealer used Honda semi syn 10w30 initially so I did as well 1st few times, have used Belray, yamalube, Valvoline & Castro’s Motorcycle oils, no issues ever, 33K, doesn’t burn or leak, routine change every 3-4K is the key with good quality oil.
