So, not everyone has always ridden Kawi's. What else you got in the stable?

I Love Honda's as well :)

I had a 2005 Yamaha R6, which was traded in to purchase the new Z. I really enjoyed it, but never rode it. I decided on getting something more comfortable.

The R6 was an awesome bike, but you really can't go wrong with the Yamaha/Kawi/Honda/Suzuki 600's. That bike was fast and everything was tight-throttle response, braking, turning, shifting. It had almost no power below 6k rpm, but that just made it more fun to shift through the gears.

The new Z is a different animal, but there are some things I will miss about the R6. Overall, I am definitely glad I made the switch.

I'm currently building/rebuilding a 93 GSXR750. Big Bore 907, Keihin FCR Carbs and stage 2 or 3 cams. Should be one fun bike on the track! Will be for sale once it's built!

now that is one mean lookin' bike. bet it runs even better than it looks. why did you buy the z.:eek::eek:
I'm from England and thats where the Gix is but my parents live in the states so I got the Z1000 so I had a bike to use when i'm over there.

Also I'm relocating to the US early next year so the gixer will be shipped over and the Zed will be getting some intensive Streetfightering, I wouldn't get rid of the Z1000 it has some awesome potential for a serious hooligan tool :D

As well as the 2010 Z1000 I've got a 2005 ZX6R C1H, had it from new, it turned 66,000 miles last week. It does the bulk of my commuting to work, 100 miles a day round trip, it makes the journey more bearable when riding a nice bike.
