Yeah I meant to mention the wind noise. There are ways around that, but it takes some experimentation.

I'm not sure but I THINK the GoPro has that covered, but if not, I would first try taping over the mic hole, and if that doesn't work well enough (or works too well), attaching a thick piece of foam over it.

my age is showing, i like to just ride a motorcycle. no music [ the sound of the engine is music]. no gizmos or distractions. why do younger people need to always be pushing buttons, and looking at screens. all i want out of a ride is the smell in the air and the wind in my face. i hardly can operate my cell phone and i like it that way. now my wife is 100 % into tech. she gets a new electronic toy every few months. i know i am over the hill and i am not a part of the future.

Well nothing special here. No screens no buttons to mess with while riding. Little thing that sits on the bars and a tab you move forward to turn on...That's it when on it is recording at all times. Off it's not. As far as the GoPro, No comparison. 3 or 4 hundred $$$ and Full HD vs $63 for 380 video. Not top of the line or as cool as the Gopro but a good cheap alternative. JMO:)

Ive got a few GoPro vids of the sledding trips this last winter and the thing is awesome! No offense to the above video, I'm sure you didn't expect a 70 dollar camera to be 1080 HD. BUT I will say once you film and watch a true HD video, all others don't compare.

That being said I'm still bikeless for the time being so you've got one up on me. At least you have a bike to shoot videos with!

Hoffy - great video! Im sitting here cheering you on to pass the guy in front of you.... Did you edit out every time you came up behind other cars, or was this just a road with no traffic except in the opposite direction?!?!? I saw a TON of bikes and some cars coming in the opposite direction, but nothing in your way! I wanna come ride with you!!!

Except, you are on the wrong side of the road :)

Thanks for the vid. I saw these at a local hunting and fishing store for $90.00. But it was camouflage. Too bad they only stocked that version. I guess the deer don't like being filmed.

My buddy is a videographer and swears by the GoPro, but like previously mentioned, is much higher. However for a cheap alternative the Midland seems like a viable solution. The fisheye distortion didn't even seem like much of a problem.
