Ok so I am thinking of painting my rad covers and side panels black. I am not a fan of silver/grey. What do yall think? And not sure if I'd go flat black or gloss black yet.

Painted my radiator side covers flat black, i also cut the top and bottem . I like the minimal look.

yea I think im going to pick up some paint tonight.. what grit sand paper did yall use to scuff up the plastic so the paint will stick.. also notabiker what did you cut the top and bottom off of? the rad covers? i cant tell from ur pics

i cut the top just above the top of the radiator and the bottem. i left just enough to cover the sides of the radiator.
the only prep i did to the covers was wash them with warm water and dish detergent, dry them and paint them with flat black spray paint. . it comes out like the plastic side covers behind the gas tank.
the fake frame covers and the rear sets i painted gloss black.

yea i plan on painting my rear sets black also. I did a little more prep by sanding with 600 and then 1000 grit and then washed in dish detergent to remove any oil and such. how hard were the rear sets and did you do any sanding to them? im just afraid if i dont do any sanding the paint wont stick

The process that I used to prep and spray the plastics were as follows:

1. Went voer everything with real light grit sand paper to scuff them up

2. Rubbed them down with rubbing alchohol

3. Painted them with Satin Black

4. Clearcoated them
