I recently, well about four months ago, purchased a used 2004 "Go Fast Green" Z1000. While not new to motorcycles, or naked sportbikes, I previously owned a SV650 and a SV1000, I am new to the Z1000 and four cylinders. With a little work the bike now has ProTaper bars, bar end mirror (looking for new ones), framesliders, 4-2-1 Muzzy Exhaust, and a PCIII.
I just wanted to say hello, and thank each one of you for all of the great advice and information, especially maintenance related, as there are no good, or even decent, bike shops around.
