Hi guys (and girls aswell)!
Though I'd better introduce myself now when I have registered
As you may have figured out by now I'm from Sweden. A little town called Hässleholm with a population of about 25 000-30 000 people in southern Sweden. (Sweden is located in northern Europe for those that doesn't know). I'm 21 years old while writing this and I'm a professional webdeveloper.
I guess that's enough background information. Now for the important part; the motorcycle hobby!
It all started with three different mopeds (50cc) that you in Sweden are allowed to drive when you turn 15, after completing a light theoretical and driving test.
When turning 16 I was allowed to get what we in Sweden call a "light motorcycle". That is a bike with a maximum of 125 cc and 11 kW (15 hp). This after completing a full theoretical and driving test. I bought a Derbi Senda 125 R -06 that i had for about 2 years.
When turning 18 i got two new drivers licenses, one for driving a car and of course, a bigger bike! This time at a maximum of 25 kW (35 hp). I then bought myself a Suzuki sv650s -99 which was a very good beginners bike. Of course the standard sv650s have about twice the power that i was allowed to drive, so the one i bought was registered as limited to 25 kW instead the 52 kW that is standard. The fact that the "limiter" was removed after registretion didn't concern the police
Then when i have had my drivers license for 2 years I was allowed to get a bike with any preformance. So this past summer I get myself a Kawasaki Z1000 ABS -09 and that's why I'm here
Here is a couple of images of my Z1000. It is fitted with Rizoma mirrors, Kawasaki's bigger windsheild, Kawasaki's Z1000 "control bridge", Kawasaki's saddle cut, Kawasaki's engine protectors, Rear hugger (Unknown maker), smaller license plate holder (Unknown maker), Rizoma direction indicators (Not in the pictures), Power Commander and last but not the least Akrapovic 4-2-1 Racing System which makes it sound unbelievable!
I guess that's all for now...
See you arround the forum!
Over and out!
PS. I'd love to go for a ride if you're ever in southern Sweden!
