Well, I just got myself a 2004 Z1000. Been riding since 2001, but on a cruiser over that time. Needed something a little sportier, and better hwy traveler. Checked out several super sports and nothing grabbed me... Saw the Z, sat on it, and knew it was the right fit. Didn't even test ride it. Brought it home and took it for a spin (9pm) and ... wow. Awesome.

Now I'm here and I'm hoping to learn a lot about the bike.

Just a little unsure as to how hwy commute will be.
