Hi All

Noticed the other day that sometimes when I pull away from a standstill there is rattle coming from the left side of the bike. It sounds "metallic", so I went over all the engine mount bolts and related to make sure all is tight. Even checked the header bolts and the side stand but no luck. The chain slack also seems to be within spec.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
R

Hi JohnJuan

Chain is only a few months old and I do lube it often. Did have some time today though so cleaned it nicely and relubed, so will see. I also found that the left fairing piece had a broken tab inside (I was told it had a minor tip over some years back) so sorting that out with copious amounts of epoxy. It looks like the radiator touches the fairings on either side (has small rubber stops in place), so I recon there is probably loads of places the rattle could be coming from.

Thanks,
R
