In response to one of your earlier posts, we found that issues that involve the fuel pump will not turn on a fault code. Had a problem with my son's pump, ended up replacing the pump motor and that fixed it. You COULD run a switched power lead to the pump, bypassing the ECU but I'm not sure how that would affect running.

What other mods on the bike?

Im not even sure I can remember even 1 ecu going bad without help from the owner.

Not saying you did it, but what sort of history does the bike have?

if all the switch inputs check ok and the grounds are good. Don't know what else it could be. I won't say it needs an ECU because it would just be a guess from across the internet and I won't spend your money for you. If I was in your shoes I would take it to a shop for the diag and stop tearing your hair out.

It's all good. I took apart the ignition switch again, just to be sure lol, and what do you know, a gray wire came unsoldered inside the little *******. Easy fix, and I'm back on two wheels. Thanks for all the input guys!
