Hello all. I plan to cut the stock exhaust on my 2005 Z1000 and I'd like to know how you guys who did that mod did it. What kinda tools did you use? Hacksaw, Dremel? Is a hacksaw strong enough to cut the pipes? Does it take long to do that? If you guys have pics of the steps while cutting, that would be appreciated if you would post them.

Hacksaw would do it, or a saws-all. Dremel wouldn't get deep enough. I haven't done it, but I've seen some who have and that's what they used.
