I’m on the fence about picking up a puig windscreen for my 2010 z1k. There are several reasons for the interest in the screen. First is that I run a gps off the handle bars and the added heigth of the puig would offer wind and bug protection. And the second of course is the added wind protection.

So I’m looking for opinions on the screen from people who have used it. How’s the wind protection when compared to the stock? Is it a quality part? Do you have to look through the screen or over the top (I’m 6ft)? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have one...great quality make ..helps with the wind buffering up to about 150 ks after that you know your on a nakid bike ...I'm a 5'7 girl and find it works great for me. You don't look thru them . If you find my intro thread you can see pics from all angles of the screen ...I like it much better than the stock screen

Ive got one check my thread for pics and how i modded the mounts for a sleeker look since im only 5'7" it makes the airflow perfect for people my height.

I have one, it works and makes a big difference from stock, especially at high speed. Dark smoke, and they are hard to find since the Japan earthquake, but your dealer should be able to get one from Tucker Rocky.

Got it from motorcycle superstore. They had them on sale for 82.00

Givi's screen doesn't look half bad either if you can't find a Puig.
