I was thinking about getting a power commander for my z1000 and I was looking at all the map choices for the exhaust pipes you can download. If the map isn't there for my certain exhaust how do I get the right map...

It totally depends on the type of pipe you are buying.
THis means you have a budget, or no budget at all.
If you are keeping the bike for 5 years go for a quality pipe
that will enhance the bikes performance, not all pipes are built the same.
Remember its just steel tubing with noise...
Many pipes to choose from, so choose wisely.
Slip on pipes do not require a PCV (powercommander)
Full racing exhaust you definitely will need a pcv...

Thank you. what kind of exhaust would you recommend. I will have the bike for a long time but I am on a budget because I am currently going to college and working at the home depot so I don't have too much spare money but what kind of exhaust would you recommend?

Not sure what yeasr yours is, but if it is a 2010 or 2011, check out the M4 slip ons. I put them on my bike - $475 shipped. No Power Commander needed for them... Sound and look great.
