Found this the other day on Instagram and now I can finally tell the difference side-by-side. I thought it might be helpful

What's quite remarkable to me,is that all four incarnations look cool in their own way.

Kawasaki managed not to make a schitt looking Z1000 since 2003.

each generation has is best color schemes, IMO. Orange doesn't really work for me on the Z

For the 1st gen it is definitely the black with red seat model, 2nd get is a toss up between the blue that Ampy has, though that was never offered in the US, so for the US I would say the white with red seat and red forks is what I'd go for. For the 3rd gen I have to say I like my red/white color scheme the best, and for 4th gen definitely the first year green/gray that Doc has is the best color scheme.

I personally waited 4 months to find the red/white color scheme on mine, and had to travel 800 miles to buy it, worth it though.

also, Europe got the White and Green 4th gen which looks amazing to me, we never got it. If I had the 4th gen, I would probably import the fairly to recreate it.

This is one of those Filipino Man Loving but Z Riding* Club's favourites.

*tentatively while in high heels, all revs at red lights & fourth gear stalls

Some of these types even put Eyelashes on the cowl.

You will not find it on the bike of any Male over 18 in the USA.

This is still
