Nice promo. The Ducati used in the beginning of your post looks a lot like my best buds bike. Project Diavel? Super cool bike and the Shad set up is top notch.

Lately I've been looking for a top case for my 2010 Z1000 and have gone to the Shad USA site but have not seen a Z1000 setup with pics yet. A three case locking system would be optimal but not sure if that's even possible with 3rd gens. The one referenced at the Shad site is a Ninja or SX model.

Thanks for the reply :) -Yeah, that's what I found too. It looks like an SX model (UK bike perhaps). The tail section on the Zed 1k's do not have the passenger grab handles with the two side bolts (one shown being used by the Shad rack).


Givi has a plate that mounts underneath the tail which provides the bolt hole needed to mount the rack. Still on the fence. Might just get a Wing and be done with it .. .shhhh don't tell anybody!
