Hi all,

New Z owner here - and I must say, after riding Harley's for 5-6 years, I love the speed and agility (not to mention the bad a** looks). The bike is an '04 Z1000 that is fairly stock. Mods are minimal: K&N filter, -1/+3 sprockets, windscreen, smaller turn signals & tidy fender.

I'd like to go with the standard mods, air, exhaust, smaller mirrors, etc.. Anybody have any suggestions, or anything else done to their Z that they swear by?

I'm just trying to figure out how to get pics up. Once up, let me know what you think of the bike!

Way more fun! The Harley pulls hard and its torque'y, but just doesn't give the same white-knuckle response as the Z. I couldn't be happier.

And Kawtoy, you're right - I'm in Canada (Alberta = short riding season...).

I know the v-twin's have more torque. My Son has a RC51 and it sure has massive amounts of lowend torque! I was looking for more about the ride comfort, vibrations, cornering agility at low speeds, high speed turns and how does it feel after many miles of riding? :dontknow:
