Hello all, I'm a new owner of Z1000 2005. I had one 4 years ago, it s was 2004 Z1000 and loved it. I live in Canada.

i love my gen 1 [2003-2006] Zed so much i might try and pick up another one. they are a secret we understand. is it true love the second time around ?

notabiker, I still don't know. Here in Canada, there's still snow and I'm gonna pick it up in few weeks. The thing I know, it's after having 2 bikes after my first Z1000, I really missed it. I loved my Z1000 for everything it is. The riding position, the power it got, the bas *** kinda futuristic look, etc. I even did track days with it and took racing course with my Z. I have no complaint about it. Some people hate the vibrations. For myself, I kinda like it, it gives the bike a muscle car feeling. I can assure you notabiker I'll love it. I'll try to post some pics with before and after the mods i wanna do.
