Nice, I like the black painted parts. I was wondering if I should do my rearsets because I didn't know what it'd look like and I'm painting my rad/frame/side covers satin black already. Looks like I might need to do the rearsets as well since I'm not going aftermarket till fall probably.

"I high sided and my buddy donated them" are the best kind in my opinion.;) Almost as good as the brands "I found this in a random box of stuff, maybe you'll get some use out of it" and my favorite, "Some old lady just wanted it out of her garage" brand.

Good job on the bike again, I just painted my side covers, frame covers and radiator covers satin black today. Waiting for the paint to dry, but I hope the side covers come out smooth after paint because they had kind of a rough texture to them before.:eek:ccasion:

I've thought about the 636 swap myself but decided against it. Personally, I don't know that the performance improvements will be better than just revalving and respringing the stock parts and the cost is about the same. Hyperpro springs cost about $300 front and rear, and the valving between the 636 forks and shocks is the same isn't it? It's just the poor springs that make the Z a little unbalanced I thought.

But the 636 forks do look nicer, I'll give em that.

the 636 each tube is a shock and spring

the z1k 1 tube works as a shock 1 works as a spring
