Hi all, just found these forums while searching for more info on the well known front sprocket nut and registered.
I'm Erik, 34 and from the Netherlands.
I own a 2004 Z that has a few mods.
The bike has been imported from Britain.
Some of the mods:
Mufflers shortened
LED indicators (need replacing and i'm still wondering why the previous owner used resistors instead of swapping the relais for a LED relais).
636 front forks originally modified by K-Tech. Bought the Z with a leaking fork seal and later turned out the inner forks were damaged too so SO Products replaced and fine-tuned it.
Braking wheels.
Rear shock prepped by K-tech
Fender eliminator.
Some pics (everyone loves pics):

Replaced the chain and sprockets.
Got the front sprocket off with a 31 3/4 and some old fashioned muscle.
Took the rear sprocket off and wtf.....the new sprocket won't fit!
The people at Braking obviously don't want cheap sprockets on their wheels so i had to order a €70 sprocket from them (asked if it came with a wheel, they didn't like that).
Well, the Z is back on the road again, now i'm waiting for the speedohealer to arrive.
