Tell them you will do the documentation yourself!

Also, Kawasaki pays them to set up the bike, so they can knock that off too.

$8200.00 before tax and reg. I thought it was a great deal but i noticed a couple of posters mention $7's which im sure was the upper part. Not thinking I did to bad but I learned something even more valuable, I did not know that the motorcycle companies pay the dealer for set up. Good luck in your search.

Checkout ARS Powersports in Okechobee.... They quoted me a little better than that, for a 2011. I actually did better than ARS' price at another dealer, but I took their last Z. :p

Otherwise.....getting a Z is a great decision, motorcycle-wise. Loving the power, looks, power, chunky rear tire, power, big fat motor between the legs, power, face-ripping brakes, power, gearing, power, ergos, power. Did I mention the power?

Daytona Beach dealership(Fun Machines) had both 2010 color choices( Blk/Sil, Whte/Org) two weeks ago. They'll deal if you got the bucks. Tell them the old guy who bought the '11 Ninja 1000 last month sent you. Go to "cycletrader of Florida" web site for dealer phone numbers and availability. Under 10K out the door all over the state.....good luck

Thanks guys,I'm dealing with RIVA,near Pompano bch,Fl.I hate to pay $9300 plus the BS fee's for a bike that's almost 2 years old and the 2012's will be coming out in a few months...guess I'll haggle a little more,if I don't like dealer's price,I'll let him sit on it

Well, I could give you dealer cost and rebate info, but all I'll say for now is that dealer cost is $9,174 and there is a good size rebate on top of that. My doc fee is only $100, and that is just because it takes so long to fill out all the paper work.

Retail on the '10 Z1000 was $10,499 if I'm not mistaken.

10,499 "WAS" retail "msrp" in 2010 for a brand new z1000......we are moving towards 2012 model years and "CURRENT" retail on a roughly 2yr old z1000 is in-fact about 7500....if anyone is interested in buying my 2010 z1000 for original msrp i would gladly offer that price to you..list price at moto corsa in portland, OR for my bike which i bought about 2m ago was 7499....i went in and offered them 7k otd and they took the offer..KBB has the bike right at 7500 retail... wholesale is 5200-5400...these number are current as of 2mins ago.

Dhixson - Price on overstock varies by dealer. Some dealers will flex more and manufacturer to dealer incentives help a lot.

KBB doesn't quote new bike prices. The KBB retail value is for a used bike of that particular model year. If you go to NADAguides.com, you can see 2010 New/Used prices. New is still listed at $10,499.

Seven-thousand on the road, is surely an awesome deal. Surprised the local PD didn't arrest you for theft!
