Don't slam the throttle shut, never slow down? It seems to me that most of the aftermarket exhausts pop on decel once in a while at least.

That is probably why Kawi spends so much time, money and engineering on their exhausts. They are huge, double walled, super thick and super heavy all just to quiet things down. Not to mention having to comply to emission standards. Compaired to aftermarket, short, lightweight, super thin, quasi street legal, baffles removed, etc. It is know wonder why they pop once in a while.

I put slip ons on mine, and it pops on decel as well. I kinda dig it!

You might want to play with some different maps for the FI to lower the popping, but I wouldnt worry about it too much.

Thats what a dyno run will iron out...it pops because the fuel mix is not quiet right at that point.
I had a few little pops after my dyno run on roll off at 6000-9000 rpm..went back..plugged into pc added a small amount af fuel to that rev range (5 min job)...no more pops .:D
