Is there anyway to dampen the noise on the exhaust of the Z1000?

I've seen slip on silencers for other models. Fairly easy to install but its not cheap. I'm pretty sure someone makes one for the Z1000. I'll post here if I come across anything. What year Z1000 do you have?

i just thought i was getting old. mine is waaaaay too quiet. keith emailed me today. muzzy shoulld be to him this week. son gets home next week. should be on before the weekend. does your bike have the stock exhaust?

Why on earth would you want to dampen that lovely note? i just installed 8 inch Delkevic race cans on mine and love it..... nore more close calls with ducks, geese and dear. drilled pot the factorys on my 07 with a 18'' drill bit first. sounded like a 2 stroke. Braap
