Looking for ideas 2005 z1000 bike just decided lose power ignition comes on turns over but won’t fire tried fuses seems there no power to fuel pump

The fuel pumps on these are known to go out. In fact I don’t think I’ve ever seen another problem with these bikes besides the fuel pump. If all the connections in and out look good it may be the cause, certainly where I’d focus knowing these 1st gen bikes

I agree Fuel pump is a weak link. Make sure you have power to the fuel pump plug
