Hi guys,

I own a Z1000 2012, yesterday I changed the oil + oil filter. I used Motul 300V 4T Factory Line 10W40 oil and a K&N KN303 oil filter. After riding for some hours today, I noticed that the oil has some little bubbles (see attached photo). They go away after some time but from what I know this is not a good sign, should I be worried and do something or is this normal ? Engine runs and sounds as before the oil change, no problem until now.

Photo is made aprox 30s after shutting the engine.

"Tiny bubbles, in the wi ...oil, makes me feel happy, makes me feel fine". !! who remembers that one!

um yeah weird for sure. Haven't used that oil b4 so i can't comment but agree that if you feel worried, drain it and start over.

I vaguely remember that with one of my bikes of the past but don't recall what I did. -Probably nothing since nothing comes to mind. Give it a few more days of riding and see if they dissipate.
