Well after looking at 2 z1000's in the last couple months, later to find out they are sold when i call on them again a few days later I found one at a dealer not to far from me. It's an 05' titanium, all stock, with 7700 on the clock. Was a local trade and sounds very well kept. Never been down or tipped. Going to go look at it Friday. They are holding it for me this time, so if all goes well by the weekend I should be a member of the Zed Nation!
They are asking $4800 for it. I was hoping to get it OTD for around 4500. Is that a fair price? Let me know what ya think.

I bought the exact same bike with 13000 on it for $3300 but that was from a private seller...

Kelly Blue Book lists at $4300

So I would pay that but you could problably find a better deal on craigslist

I got my 03 with 12k on the clock and pcIII and k n and a few other mods for 3k

I picked up my 07 bone stock last year for $4300 with 4800 on th clock.....but this was a private owner

I have never bought from a dealer. I bought my Z1k with rizoma clip-ons, corbin seat, muzzys slip ons, fender elim, for $4600 with 6400 miles on it in oct of '07

paid 5,200 for a 2004 last year with 9,000 on the clock. money well spent. never had a bad ride on it. i still tell the wife after a ride I JUST LOVE THIS BIKE . in 41 years of riding i never liked a bike this much over a year later. it was made for me. i have a cruiser in the garage i paid a TON for and i do not even ride it much. i do not buy a bike from a speck sheet.

This isnt incredibly relevant to the subject, but I'd like to share that thanks to a good friend Im the new owner of an 03 Zed that was purchased at the low price of $1500. yes, you read correctly $1500! Rode a 636 for the past 5 years but the motor recently blew so I picked this one up. Opportunity knocked and I LOVE IT! After riding naked, I may never go back lmao!

Well hopefully if the bike gods work in my favor I will be coming home with a new to me z1000 tomorrow...just in time for the weekendccasion:. I'll try to knock the price down as low as I can.

Well brought my new baby home tonight! Couldn't get down on the price too much but around here Z's seem to be going for the mid 4 range anyway. More pics to come tomorrow if I can get around to it. Took it up and down the road outside the dealership and the power delivery was SO smooth. Can't wait to build up some time on this girl and see what she can do.
