Have coolant leaking down the left side of the cylinder head any ideas on why this is happening. Just picked it up from an insurance job. It is overheating like crazy. On the ride home it reached 120

Shouldnt be the end of the world.....take the side panel off, get the bike up to heat and see where its coming from....its gonna be overheating due to the fact its already lost coolant i would say...

I agree with sofa and bmahoney, it’s probably just a simple leak from the hose by the clamp, and the overheating is most likely due to it being low on coolant. Pop the panel off and let it get warm and see where the leak is, you might not even have to start the bike. There’s a junction right there for your coolant lines and i bet those clamps cut through a hose
