Kawasaki z1000 2019 engine light

Hello, about 5 sec after i start the bike the engine light turns on. On the the dash it shows code 39 but when i plug it into a dealers computer it shows no code and i've tried to change everything possible related to the problem so. Is there any way to permantly turn of the engine light??

That code is with power supply to the ecu. Check your voltage regulator/generator and all your fuses and connections to be sure.

Z1000SX Code 39 ECU communication error

Bike won’t start, no fuel pump etc but will crank. Checked error code & came up with ECU communication error. This all can about after the voltage regulator failed & cooked the battery.

All, my N1K died on my tonight coming home from work. I was riding on the highway and all of a sudden my ignition cut out. FI code 39 appears. Kawasaki manual says "ECU Read Error." Bike has 11,xxx miles and has been the setup the same for the last 10xxx miles so no new changes. Battery was...

Check those out^ and try and search a few more, there’s a few odd electrical gremlins that can cause your issue
