Hello guys,
I just put on Vance and Hines CS One slip on Exhausts on my 2010 Z1000. While putting it on, I removed the cables from servo motor from underneath the rider seat. But the servo motor is still on the bike. There is no light on when I fire up the engine. I heard people saying servo motor exhaust valve eliminator is necessary to trick the ECU when servo motor is taken off the bike.
My question is: Is servo motor exhaust valve eliminator needed even if the servo motor is on the bike while the cables are gone?
Thanks in advance.

no need for a sevo eliminator as you left the sevo on so its running as normal..well as far as the ecu is concerned as its detecting the apropriate reistance, if you take the motor off for a bit of weight save and space under the seat then yes you will get an F1 light as no resistance detected, and thats all the sevo buddy is, an expensive resistor...
