Damn!, this is a sweet ride!. My first modern japanese sport bike since my KZ1000R!. I got a good deal at my local dealership and have put a whole 17 miles on it : ) . Friday night traffic does not make for spirited riding, but it is still damn comfortable. now to break it in with great care and hunt down the accesories I desire like a Sargent seat, EPA legal slip-ons and Canadian side panels in green and black.

Thank you Z1. Today my job is to go scrub-in the tires and put some break-in miles on it.

I had a chance to put on only 75 miles today, but what an impressive ride. I can only buzz 4K but I got a chance to feel the cornering speed, very impressive handling, and I have not touched an adjustment knob yet!. As Sean Connery said in the 3rd Indiana Jones movie "You chose wisely", and I am very happy. Now if only we had EPA approved slip-ons and a sargent seat.

The break in period is so damn boring!!, but the bike is so nice. I just have to train myself with the fuel injection, very responsive.
