the kawasaki ticket to ride came into town so i signed up. my friend has a zx 14 and a 2010 Z1000, i have been on those bikes before. so i signed up for the ninja 1000.
i am glad i did. what a wonderful [ comfortable] sport bike. i really did like it. that mid range PUNCH would get me into a lot of trouble i think. i liked it more than my friends ZX14. .it handles better,is more comfy and i do not plan to ever go 186 MPH. i still love my 2004 Z 1000. but if i was going to make a change i would get the ninja 1000.

Good to hear. I bought a Green and Black Ninja last week. Hasn't come in to the dealer yet. Getting a little anxious. I haven't riden one yet, just sat on it for about 20minutes and felt good. I sold my 2007 BMW F800S last fall which was a nice riding position. The Ninja is very similar in riding position, but should have alot more punch than the Bimmer.

Bring on the warm weather.

The motor is really a jewel isn't it? And unlike a lot of bikes with decent low and midrange power, it just gets better and better the harder you spin it. :D

the ride leader was going pretty fast so we could put the bikes threw their paces. i came off a turn and gave it 1/2 throttle and the front wheel came off the ground in the exit. i am sure a race replica snob would say it is not that great [ who cares] this bike is a do it all sport bike. i cant get over how comfy the riding position was. i got right back on my 04 to compair them. i must admit my beloved 2004 is way down on the usuable mid range punch. but on a FWY on ramp when i hit 7,000 my old Zed exploded with mega power. would i buy a ninja 10000 HELL YES. good job kawasaki.
