Just checking in with my fellow Kawi nuts. I am within days of pulling the trigger on a 2011 Ninja 1000 and thought it would be cool to scan the forums, if anybody knows what's up, it is you guys. This will be the 62nd motorcycle i have owned!. My other current bikes are a '66 Triumph TT special, a '73 Yamaha MX250 modded for dirt track, an '81 KZ1000R clone and an '08 KLR650.

hi i did a demo ride on that bike, i liked it a lot. i have a 2004 Z1000 and a cruiser [ victory 8 ball]. i live in so cal so i ride year round. enjoy. oooops i se e you are also a so cal guy. i am on my 12 th bike. between 1971-78 and 1984-2002 i did not ride. it is more fun than ever .
