I installed my Renthal ultra lows today and noticed that the stock bars have holes in them just outside the bend. I looked at the plastic bits with the switches and stuff, and I looked at the perches for the levers and mirrors and can't figure out what might go into these holes if anything does. :dontknow:

Are they to keep the attached things in place? If so, what goes into these holes to lock them in? I saw a post by someone with these exact bars, but I can't find it now. Anyone know?

Nevermind, there is a little peice on the plastic that fits in there, I was looking for something more obvious like a peg or something. I can't figure out how to delete the thread now.

haha, you answered it before I could. Anyway they do keep your controls in place. To use those new bars you have you will have to do one of two things. 1st option try to match those holes perfectly. Second choice, cut the nubs out in the controls, then get some 3/4 inch shrink tubing. Mark where you are going to put you controls then cut 2 strips of the shrink to about 1 inch. place them where your controls are going to mount the add heat to shrink them to your bars. This will give you ample mounting to tighten your controls on the bars.
