I am a new Z1000 owner as of last night. Even though I've only had about 2.5 years of experience (started late, I know), I've already owned 11 different motorcycles. What a great hobby.

Anyway, yesterday evening, I purchased a used, but in great condition 2008 Z1000. It's pretty much all stock, but I'll be adding modifications soon.

I got interested in a Z1000 when I was able to ride someone else's 07 model. I've owned sportbikes in the past and always complained about being tired and worn out after being out riding all day. I've also owned cruisers and complained about poor braking and handling. Well, one ride on the Z1000 and I was sold. I'm glad I made the purchase! This is like a mix between a sportbike and cruiser. Depending on my mood, I'll either ride fast or just relax and cruise.

Looking forward to being part of this community
