I have tried everything to get rid of the wobble or shake when leaving go of the handlebars at road speed, checked tire balance, rims, new tires ,still when leaving go of handlebars it starts and progressively gets worse, and after a hundred or so upon accelerating to that speed it really gets bad, had a bike mechanic say that the steering bearings are worn as you turn the handlebars with it jacked up, in the straight position turning right to left you can feel a flat spot of some sort, but i cant see, that would make it wobble, and the swing arm is tight, and rear tires are also new and balanced, any info might help!

I would try puting new steering head bearings in. That saved my friends' XJ750 Maxim. I have a '77 KZ1000, and it is smooth as silk with no hands on the bars, and accelerates to 130 mph with ease, and no shaking.

Its either the steering head nearings, or the bike has been wrecked and has a bent frame.
