Hello! I'm wondering if you guys found a certain spot to pull accessory power from? For my last bike, a Hayabusa, there is a guy "Boost by Smith" that makes a harness that plugged into the factory wiring by the headlight and provided switchable (ignition) power. Is there such an animal for the Ninja 1000/Z1000. I'd rather not run straight off the battery. Thanks!!

I have installed a 12v power outlet straight to the battery so i can conect it with the trickle charger without having to remove the battery every time. And thats where I get power for my GPS. On my last bike I got power from the lights. I didnt mess with the main harness, I just run a wire from the taillight to the front seat. but it wouldnt charge the battery... I have a cheap tomtom gps and an arcon waterproof case mount with a quick release so i never leave it on the bike.

sorry i couldnt help you more.
