I've been watching my odometer and comparing it to the bars on my digital gas display, and wanted to see what others are getting for gas milage.
1st bar= 60 miles
2nd bar= 20 miles
3rd bar= 10 miles
4th bar= 10 miles
5th bar= 10 miles
6th bar starts flashing at 120 to 130 miles.

I have a 2010 Z1000, only mods are slip on exhaust. What kind of fuel range should I expect on it? I am guessing that 150 miles on a tank would be pushing it.

I get around 220km's (136 miles) out of a tank on my 2011, less if I'm giving it a bit around the twisties. The fuel gauge doesn't come off full 'till about 150km's (90 Miles) though.

My record so far is 245km's (152 Miles), but that was almost all straight line riding.

Usually it gets me 120. But I don't fill it up all the way to the top, I leave a couple inches from the top just to be safe. If I have 8:00am classes it gets 100 mpg because I cant get up on time.
100 miles per gallon!? :screwy:

I haven't trusted a gas gauge in many years, so I only use it as a quick reference... I reset my trip odometer at each fill up. I start looking for gas around 90 miles, and no later than 120. I get typically 36-38 mpg, with a very rare 40-42. So yeah, about 140 on a tank is about it.

Kinda sad... I look for gas starting at 90 miles on this with a 4-gal tank. On my little Kawasaki KLX250S with a 2-gal tank, I also look for gas at 90 miles. It gets 55-65 mpg. But definitely nowhere near as fast. :)
