set off for my early sunday morning ride today and the fuel level ran very low as no fuel stations were open managed to fill the tank and set off but then the fuel light started to flash again everytime i accelerated any ideas its a 2008 model

try doin a few wheelies the float may be stuck. seriously it may have gotten so low a piece of trash got lodged in it. it may jar loose.:screwy::screwy::screwy::screwy:

Try pulling a few of the fuses, it may reset its self.

My 07 dose it every time I fill up. the gas gauge flashes til i ride about 50miles or so. Like they said I think the float sticks at the bottom:screwy:

that sucks, sender in the tank has a problem. does the fuel read full, on fill up.

yeah the fuel reads full but flashes

I have an 07 and mine has done it since i bought it. everything has been replaced ...sending unit and guage also the guage cluster was replaced and it still does it. After awhile i just got used to it ...so good luck.
