Every "First Tuesday" of the month bikes gather at the Dairy Queen in Savoy around 630pm. I have run into a few Z's there before but none here lately. Good folk out there too, I hope to see a few of you there! Usually the nicer the weather is, the more bikes/people show up. :eek:ccasion:

I have nothing going on tomorrow night other than a desire to stay warm.

I'll give this some thought. If I bring some warmer clothes to work with me I might survive the ride home from Savoy...

Sweet, if you go send me a text. I will meet you somewhere and we can ride out there together. I will be running a few errands around chambana after I get off work at 3pm. Let me know what you decide. :eek:ccasion:

I promise I won't talk you into another cold 1st tuesday. How was your ice cream, lol. I was home, in the house with the bike locked up in the garage by 8pm

I got home about the same time. Damn was I cold! It was worth it though. That's a friendly bunch and it was nice collection of bikes considering the weather. :eek:ccasion:

My kid is planning on coming along next time with his old GPz. I know he'll enjoy it too. Let's hope it's finally warm by then!

I ran into a couple of friends last night that might make it next week if the weather is decent. So we might see another Ducati and a red ZX-14 there.

I followed the friend with the Duc home last night from Champaign since he had a taillight out...

Still working on the guys here. One guy has a 250 Rebel and a 400 Nighthawk he's rebuilding. The other has an old Concours and a KLR. He rode the Concours the other day and when he pulled in it sounding like it was running on 2 1/2 cylinders. Time for him to do some carb work...

Looks like I found a few people to go tomorrow. My son is going and a friend of his with a 1000 Suzuki. Plus my friend with the Ducati's and maybe the guy with the ZX-14.

We need to get the rice bike count up as far as we can. Last time it looked like a Ducati/Buell convention...

I plan on having the Z1K there... I doubt I can talk the Fiance into going, but I will try; that would count in a Ninja 500R

Well, we had maybe 30 bikes last night in the heat. It was HOT. It must have been trike night since there were a few there, one with a small block Chevy.

A few newer GL's. Damn are those things huge. Over 9' long. I've had cars with smaller trunks. One guy had a cooler strapped to his running board. It's just wrong...
A few Harleys, a few Ducatis. Overall, more Jap bikes, less Buells. :eek:ccasion:

I know this guy, he logs quite a few miles, and feels the need to drag his pipes/floorboards everytime he makes a turn. I never understood the cooler either...
