new first vs old second . new is 2010 z1000 with full muzzy, PCv, and bcm filter. old is stock. the run on the new in red the first run today. blue is after the tune, the old is just a stock base. these are on the same dyno with the same operator. he says his hp readings are 15to 20% lower than motorcycle mags. nearly a 10 hp gain. canned map was excessively rich. no more smoke on acceleration. bike is crisp in all gears at all speeds. only problem now is i need a stickier tire. breaks loose easy in first three gears above 4000 rpm. maybe as ithe roads warm up i'll be able to get some traction. any suggestions for tires with good traction?:screwy::screwy::screwy:

had 2 bad dips both were rich got them as smooth as he could. we concluded the race exhaust and maybe cam profile caused it. the smoother we got it the more the power picked up acroos the rev range. the first pull was 108.7 which was less than the stock run originally taken. the improvement across the rev range was dramatic. 10 hp. noncorrected was 120hp. corected was 118.9hp. which on any other dyno would probably equate to 135 to 138. anyway. this shows the improvement the dyno made from the cannned map. bike performs better at every rpm. no more smoke and better gas milage. it's a win win for me. except for the traction problem. i'll have to find a stickier tire.:screwy::screwy::screwy:
