I've been looking for a new bike and have come across the z1000. Have done some research and even went and test drive a new one and enjoyed it.

What do you think I should expect as my OTD price on a leftover '10 orange/wht or '11 black?

I will have to finance some of the bike, then rest will be down payment of $3k. Just looking for some insight. Thanks for your time.

Also, I'm new to the forum have been riding for about 10 years and live in Tampa.

I got mine for 800 under msrp. Check out cycle trader dot com, their are some really good deals on their. A 2011 is probably going to run you msrp which I think is around 10,600 or so.

I got mine for $9500 out the door. That was in March 2010. I used E-bay to find the best offered price out there, which was $9495. I was happy at the time with $1000 off MSRP. TODAY, there is a 2010 on E-Bay from a Cherry Hill, NJ dealer (brand new on the dealer floor) with a buy-it now price for $7995.00.
I would start my 2010 offer around that price. Must be some serious markup in these things if the dealer can still make money at that price.
