i was asked who made the bar end mirrors on my 2004 Z 1000. sorry it took a while to post the info. they are usually in stock at most motorcycle shops. the brand is
BIKE MASTER and the pn# is 60-0212
they are 3 inch round mirrors.
the price was 33 bucks for the pair. they have been on the bike long enough that a problem whould have surfaced by now.
i installed them so the bar end weight goes on the outside of the mirror bracket. i like them mounted lower then the bar, it clears the tank no problem. you can see them with my bikes pics in the on going photo of bikes section page 4 # 40. they are fully adjustable, and vibration has not been a problem.

I'll prolly buy some and throw my stock front windscreen back on, hopefully that'll clean the front up a bit.

being a old guy i fight change and do not like some newer trends . it took me a while to warm up to side mounts. i never liked how conventional mirrors look on a bike. shorty mirrors usually give a poor rear view . a strong plus for the bar end mirrors is they stick out farther than the stock mirrors so you can see behind you . i capped off the stock mirror mount and i doubt i will ever go back.
