Yes it has a full system, with a PC5 and K&N air filter
Defintately loose the PC5 and get the ecu flashed....theres quite a heavy restriction in there which holds back the secondary injectors that a pc5 cant adjust....you say your going for more top end? mine clears 155mph with more to go....you need more than that?!

yea just a little more, bike feels dead in 6th gear

Mine went on a dyno close to where I live.... Uk... Bristol. Made 146 at the wheel... Its got such a short ratio box it cant fail but to pull in every gear!

Man, my hands are getting ripped off the grips at 150+ due to the straight bars. I've never once thought about re-gearing. Y'all are gods! Or you have vice grips for hands!:wink:

The last time I hit 155 was 3 years ago.... Nice that it can get up there but on the whole impractical... Between 70 and 130 it's ****ing awesome. Hope to find out the actual top end of mine next month at the tt... As you can legally go as fast as you want...

Thinking about getting the flash from 2wheel dynoworks, what do you suggest ?

Find out whats in the flash....if youre not near a dyno (that is capable) then youve got no choice. Mine for example has the below mods done along with a custom fuel map. Im assuming at this point youve got a full system...this is an absolute must...

1. Flapper valve deleted.
2. Reduced engine braking
3. o2 sensor deleted.
4. Secondary injector cut in rpm moved from 7k to 3k
5. Redline increased by 500rpm as it was still making power....if your bike is not going to dyno then you probably wont be able to do this bit

Just for the record my baseline flash was 128 at the wheel and after went up to 146

The only thing I've heard is once the ecu is flashed with the Woolwich software.... Its then locked so only they can adjust it....

I have a gen 1 03 z1000 with full Leo Vince sbk exhaust, pc5, steering dampener, and aftermarket bars. The previous owner switched the gearing from 16/42(oem gen 1), to 15/41. On the interstate, I’m constantly searching for “7th gear.” I ordered a 16/40 sprocket set and hopefully that will give me more top end. It’s so unbelievably torquey now in its current configuration. When I’m at 141 on the Speedo, I’m at 9700-9800 rpm. What do y’all think about running a 16/40?
